For three days in April, 7bridges will attend and sponsor LogiPharma 2022 in Nice and we are thrilled to be participating in a sustainable supply chain panel! Greater regulatory demands are driving sustainability activity across all industries. Effective logistics management for pharmaceutical businesses will become a key factor in their organisational preparedness.

Philip Ashton, our CEO, will join an expert panel titled: How can you best prepare for and execute the industry-wide and regulation-driven shift towards more sustainable logistics and distribution activities?’ He’ll be joined by:

  • Matthew Roberts, VP Head of Global Supply Chain Logistics & Transformation at GE Healthcare
  • Willem Jan Beerthuis, Global Head of Logistics at Teva
  • Jonathan Botteselle, Senior Procurement Partnerships Manager Global Logistics at Roche

They will share insights into how Pharma companies can prepare for this shift toward sustainable supply chains. By leveraging technology, AI and more granular data, companies can better respond to these regulatory challenges as well as future-proof their operations. Join us at the panel on Day 1 (April 5th) at 12:10 pm.

In addition to sharing our own knowledge, we’re excited for many of the interesting and useful sessions happening throughout the event.

Digitalisation and sustainability in pharmaceutical supply chain

Two of the hottest topics at this year’s LogiPharma event are embracing technology and increasing sustainability. At 7bridges, we see both of these challenges as being inherently intertwined essential for data-driven businesses.

Several of the keynote sessions are particularly interesting around these topics. For example, ‘How to optimise your long-term planning, drive interconnectivity and enhance network strategy processes to ensure you are well prepared for the future demands of your supply chain’ with Avinash Gore and ‘How to effectively combine people, process and technology to successfully deliver supply chain 4.0 projects at scale that deliver automation and visibility that works’ with Brian Torley highly emphasise the need to adopt new technologies and AI in supply chains.

Both sessions highlight the need for a robust digital strategy in pharmaceutical logistics. They will address questions such as:

  • What does the roadmap to an autonomous, intelligent and agile supply chain look like and how is it achievable?
  • How is the convergence of IoT, advanced data analytics, RPA and AI being used to great effect in other industries?
  • How can you best drive the lasting adoption of new technologies and processes in order to ensure the success of projects?
These questions are crucial to the building of resilient, adaptable supply chains that can navigate the current complex landscape. For digitally-minded attendees, this event will offer many opportunities to discover cutting-edge technologies and explore how organisations can harness them to enhance their supply chains.

Meeting the great minds of pharma logistics

Over the course of the event, we’re looking forward to meeting supply chain experts from some of the most innovative and forward-looking pharmaceutical companies in the world. The pharmaceutical supply chain is one of the world’s most complex, so it will be interesting to share knowledge and gather insights from the best in the business.

To boost networking and help attendees relax after the first day of talks, there will be a ‘Festival of the French Riviera’ evening filled with drinks, food and fun! On the night, keep an eye out for the 7bridges mojito bar and stop by to say hi.

We hope to see you there!
